What We Do
Point Clear Fishing Adventures specializes in light tackle inshore fishing on Mobile Bay, around Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Fairhope, Point Clear, Dauphin Island, Daphne and Spanish Fort For the seasoned angler we offer specialty trips; top-water, hard and soft plastic artificial bait. Live bait is normally used.
My Boat
23' Ranger Bay Boat with Yamaha 300hp. Very comfortable and capable.
What is Included
Standard trips include ice, live bait, tackle, fuel, fishing license . We will also clean and bag all fish at the end of the trip for you to take home.
What We Fish For
Typically we fish for Speckled Trout. On occasion, we can go after species such as Flounder, Redfish and Triple Tail. Let me know if you have something specific in mind when you book your trip and we will be sure to accommodate!
Where We Launch
Typically in the spring and summer we leave out of the Marriott Grand Hotel in Point Clear which is a beautiful place to stay. During the fall and winter months I may elect to pick you up on the causeway in the boat to fish the Mobile Tensaw Delta.
Point Clear Alabama offers some of the best fishing this area has to offer. It is on the middle of the eastern shore of Mobile Bay. It has the most scenic views in the areas from point around the Grand Hotel to the bluffs of Fairhope.
Marriotts Grand Hotel is a 5 star rated hotel, it has the outstanding Robert Trent Jones golf course, and some of the finest dining in Baldwin County.
What You Need to Bring
Drinks and food are the most important items. We also recommend sunscreen and a hat. Although we always have a camera on the boat, you should bring your camera to remember your catch.
